Thayer03 06-25-2006, 03:01 PM What about organizing a cruise night here in Calgary sometime in the near future? It would be great to meet each other and share ideas and tech info. Let me know what kind of interest there is for this and I would be happy to organize it.

PS: Also looking for a local place to buy an engine and tranny rebuild kit. The only place I know of here in Calgary is Mopac at 16th & Center. Are there any other options?
Russell 06-25-2006, 11:38 PM We are all planning on getting together in August -- I'll bump the topic back to the top for you :)
Thayer03 06-26-2006, 08:04 PM Great. Thanks! If ya need a hand let me know
pissonNOS 06-26-2006, 11:59 PM when in august id like to come
Russell 06-27-2006, 12:28 AM 7 & 8th I do believe :)
71/454 06-28-2006, 01:46 AM Thay sounds good. Count me out for the cruise though, My truck will still be at paint most likely. Also for performance parts there is Best Buy Performance on centre st n.w. around 22 ave almost a stone's throw from mopac. Sometimes they're cheaper some time's they're more but it's always nice to phone around.

Randy,
Calgary Cruise nights:
Every:
Tuesday at Hooters - 27th Ave 23 st NE
Wednesday Nights at A&W - Macleod and 43 SW (Usually pretty big)
Thursday nights at Diary Queen - Center St and 19th Ave NE
Might be good places to meet.
Vince
Thayer03 06-29-2006, 12:02 AM sweet thanks dude! I'll check those out!
Spent a month in Calgary, and went to every Wednesday Cruise at the A&W. Well worth it. I wish I would have known about the others, could have hit them too. Also supposed to be a good one in Airdrie on Thursday nites. Didn't hear about that till the week I was leaving.
I've found the service at Mopac to be much better then Best Buy. Also try Unlimited Performance in the SE, sorry don't know the address. Smaller store, so more personal.
If the cruise can be on a weekend, I'll make it up. Three hour drive is too muh for a weeknite tho.
Thayer03 06-29-2006, 07:38 PM Right on. I will inquire about the cruise night in Airdrie. I will be going to the one tonight at Dairy Queen but not sure how many will come out. Looks like it might just rain tonight.
