Notice the tool being used to compress the spring so the lock ring can be removed. http://www.fieros.de/jpg/col6.jpg http://www.fieros.de/jpg/col7.jpg The photos are from this site which has instructions: http://www.fieros.de/en/articles/steering.html Here is another photo of a tool made for this job: http://www.chevyasylum.com/column/column-03r.jpg ChevyTech 06-28-2006, 01:59 PM Here are some more sites that may be helpful: http://elcaminocentral.com/article95.html Looks like on this site he did the quick fix and did not take it apart far enough to tighten all four fasteners. http://www.chevyasylum.com/column/tiltcol.html Exploded View of a tilt column. http://www.nastyz28.com/tech/e-tiltcol.html MD8349 07-13-2006, 09:00 AM Thanks Chevy Tech The Links Were Helpfull Once I Got All The Wright Tooles Of Course It Made The Job Easy The Only Thing I Got To Do Now Is Go Back And Realign The Dimer Switch Sounds Like Fun.
