View Full Version : Yet another Canadian member!!
Ryan'70 06-30-2006, 08:47 PM Hey everyone,
I'm a new member from Leader, Saskatchewan and finally after many many years I purchased myself a project truck. A 1970 GMC Sierra Grande, currently with a 350 under the hood but I'll be swapping that out down the road.
I've been hanging around for a few days and everyone has some incredible trucks, hopefully one day I'll be able to show n after pic with this before one......

Ryan'70 07-11-2006, 01:42 AM Thanks for the welcome guys!! Good to see lots of Canadian members too, the prairies are definately a hotspot for the 67-72 Chev/GMC.
Little more info on my project. The truck sat in a field for 3 years and I was told that the starter was shot at the very least so I was under the impression that I'd have some work to do before I ever got to drive it. Well after a case of beer, a $30 fuel pump, some fresh oil and gas and about 2 hours it fired right up!! Not only did it start right up but it runs nice and smooth, the power surprised me too.
It's good to know I can have some fun with it while I'm building her up, also let's me take my time rebuilding the original 402 I managed to snag along with the truck.
