I got a 1988 GMC and I want to upgrade the speakers in the dash,how do you remove them without damaging them
I can remove the ones in the sides of the cab but not sure about the dash.

Is the 88 dash the same as the 94? If so the covers have clips on them that you can just pop up and out. You will need a small wrench 7mm or a right angle driver to get the rear screws (4 total ) loose.

The last time I did this, I lost a very good little screwdriver. Still no idea where it went to this day.
