"67"StepSide 07-04-2006, 09:08 PM Hey guys - been a long time since I've posted, but I work construction and this is my busiest time of year. Just wanted to put up a couple of pics on the progress of my project '67 - still in the deconstruction stage. The more I take apart, the less I have to work with, ha ha ha. More pics to come soon. Hope everyone is having a nice summer.:metal: :)

"67"StepSide 09-09-2007, 09:03 AM Thanks, I just finished putting the dimple in the frame for the power steering box and now it's off to powdercoat. My dad is 79 this was his truck and he just dosen't understand why I need such a big motor. He thinks the ol' straight 6 was just fine..... Has anyone tried to spin the tires with that 6? Lord knows I tried!!!!!! Insert big block problem solved..... Right?
Premium72 09-09-2007, 11:32 AM you huld put the truck back the way it was as far as looks. with that motor it would be an awesome sleeper. nice job so far.

"67"StepSide 11-19-2008, 08:03 PM Hi everybody!! Here's an update on the project. It's been on hold this year cuz I moved into a different house. The cool thing about this house is, it is the house that my truck orignally came from. See my uncle john worked at GM
and ordered the truck new. when he died my dad john Sr. got the truck, then he gave it to me john Jr. My aunt went into a nursing home and I bought her house and it brings tears to her eyes to know I live there now and brought her and my uncles truck home!!!:) Any way I'm redoing the garage and will get back on the project with in a few weeks. pic's soon:chevy:
