Hello forum buddies! Can anyone tell me where I can get a fuel tank that I can mount under my bed so I can get the original out from behind my seat? I have seen replacement tanks for '63 up but havent seen one for a '60. Is there that much difference between those years of trucks? Am I going to have to have one custom made?...Ray

I just shopped the catalogue at www.gastanks.com and decided on a tank for a 1987 Jeep Wrangler. look here: http://www.gastanks.com/prodinfo.asp?number=JP-1D

I plan on mounting it against the right side frame rail which would give me around 10 inches to make the turn up to the bed and have the tank filler near the left side of the box about a foot in. you could also look through www.tanksinc.com, which also gives dimensions and can sell you plastic tanks.

I found a guy on ebay that has created a gas tank kit for the 60 - 66 c-10. I believe he uses a 70's model blazer design and includes the mounting straps, sending unit and tank. You can search for 60 c10 gas tank and find him.
