I just landed in the area a few days ago. Driving through town, I've already seen at least a dozen 67-72 trucks... 99% original-ish work trucks. On 7/4, at Roosevelt Park in Longmont, there was a bright yellow '70 in the car show. And... I've seen 3 Blazers and one Jimmy as well. Wheeeeee....

The Wallet Eater is (in theory) on a truck somewhere between Ken's-Ass and here... though nobody with Atlas can tell me exactly where. Getting it on the trailer was fun. We had to use a flat bed lift bed and some wooden ramps to lift the truck to dock height, then drive it onto the actual moving truck.

Welcome to Colo. Plenty of longbed work trucks around here. Maybe I'll see you scrapin' around sometime.

First gens are pretty popular here. Lots still appear to be work trucks. I just got mine back on the road.

There's at least a few shiny ones too... I saw a purple/silver Blazer at a note lot (of all places) on Main St in Longmont this afternoon. Price on the windshield was... wait for it... wait... $14,995. Yes, that's in dollars

Man, I can't believe a dealer on main street Longmont would overprice anything.

I spotted a couple of Blazers in Nederland this afternoon. One looked to be a pretty decent med. blue one. The other one was... well... if someone put a tablespoon of naval jelly on it, it'd disappear into a pile of rubble.

Also saw a LWB GMC on a roadside turn-in on the way back down the mountain.

He's practically giving it away. It's now at $12,998. At this rate I'll be able to afford it in... uh... 127 years.

Welcome to the area, stop by Delicioso on S. Main and say hi. I'm the one in the back covered in grease swapping my cab or bed or motor or something.

BTW, thanks for the cab milehightoyz. Very nice. :hiya:

well, as of right now... i know i need a few things, main thing is new ignition, its on the fritz, the other is a motor and tranny. i believe its got and olds 350 now from what i was just told today with a bad torque converter. if you guys know of anyone with a decent 350 (or bigger) and trans for sale i might be interested in that. but that might not be for a few months. thanks for the warm welcome though.
