Hello All,

I figured I would get on here and introduce myself... I am living in Innisfail, Alberta, about 15 miles south of Red Deer, which is about 60 miles north of Calgary and 60 miles south of Edmonton.

I previously owned a White 67 chevy that the previous owner had essentially built for the 1/4-mile. It had a crazy low gear ratio, shift-kit, posi-traction etc.. top speed in it was 118km/hr (70mph) and it was red-lining, but it sure good get there in a hurry! Now my hard luck story, I was 17 at the time, and on a very limited income, I was sinking every dime I had into this thing, had a friend rebuild the engine, gutted the interior, put in buckets, stereo, lighting (all the things important to a kid!). July, 31 of 95 my insurance expired and my transmission was slipping, and was time for a new one. I had two options: 1) renew the insurance/plates on a vehicle I couldn't drive, or 2) buy the tranny get it installed and then with the August 7th pay-cheque, put the plates/insurance back on... so I buy the tranny, get it installed, August 4th, truck stolen, no insurance, no truck, sorry kid, you lose.

So here I am 12 years later, bitten by the 67-72 chevy bug as a child, I am seeking out a new truck to cruise in on hot sundays afternoons...

I have one in mind, but need to ask some questions first...

I have photos, they are sizeable, can anyone tell me what size pictures are suitable to upload, obviously the bigger the better has it's limitations, I don't need to hog server space, or make the website any slower... once I know this, I will have some questions to ask.... and if I buy it, you can all consider me your new best friend!;)

Take Care,

LJ

hey whats up, i was also bitten by the 67-72 bug when i was a teen but settled on a '69 camaro 350/4 speed muncie that i was forced to sell off when i reached 20. ever since that day some 16 years ago i vowed that i would get another hot rod and just last week i managed to pick up my '71 long bed that i will never sell. can't answer your Q but can tell you that this is definatley the place to be for a high traffic forum.
