Looks like really good prices. Are they alright? I would like to find something I can take with me and use away from home. What do I look for?

Mudder 08-02-2006, 03:09 PM I havent looked at anthing in the last serval days. Just noticed one day that some where in the 250 to 300 range and they were reconditioned by the manufactures. I wouldn't want to spend a whole lot since it will be going to work with me. Things there can dissappear if you aren't watching. Last time I was up at Djracer's place he had a Dell lappy (Inspiron 6000 i think) for sale. Might want to send him a PM and see what he wants for it. Recons are supposed to be as good as new...but ive never bought one that way. shifty 08-02-2006, 06:02 PM Dell also has a "refurb" outlet. http://outlet.dell.com You can often find smokin' deals in there, but you gotta get it in your cart as fast as it's posted and check back every half hour or so for new arrivals, because the stuff goes quick. honestly, Mudder, i would pay the extra $100 or so just to know i get a year's worth of warranty with the machine rather than buy on eBay. and, honestly, i'd pay a few bucks more to get the 3yr warranty. laptops rarely go for more than 12-24 months these days w/o breaking.. |
