To start out with the car has been siting for 4 years because of a locked up motor. I just rebuilt the motor and planned on driving it. The problem is when I turn on my parklights everything works but the right turn signal on the dash is on but not blinking. When I turn the switch to turn on the headlights the right headlights and front clearance lights are real dimm and the right signal light is still on in the dash. I figured the blinker switch took a crap so I disconnected it and nothing changed so I know it isn't that. Then I thought a bad ground in the headlight cuircit and was backfeeding through the signal light for a ground, but that doesn't explain the signal light being on when just the parklights are turned on. Oh and yes all the bulbs are fine as far as I can see. I am gonna go and pull it into the shop and check it over and see what I can find, if you have any idea now matter how simple are dumb you may think it may sound please post it, I am open to any ideas.

I now have it narrowed down to what I think is a ground problem. The signal light no longer comes on when the headlight switch is in the parklight postion, it only comes on when the headlights are on. I have no clue where the headlight circuit is grounded at though.
