Hey all, does anyone know what year Chevy introduced the passenger-side airbag in the Silverado?

Are you certain it wasn't an option all the way back to '95? Seems like they would have offered it with the new interior.

my 96 doesnt have it but i got a 97 at work that does

I think 99-2door is right. I've been looking around and the 95-96 interiors have cup holders on top of the glove box, while the 97-98 has the passenger-side airbag.

some 97-98 had the deletes for the bags on the pass side but i got a 97 dash that im goin to cut up and mold on my 96 because i dont feel like changin them out
