Due to a severe lack of work space and not enough confidence in my own abilities:hm: , I am looking for a good place to take the original 402 out of my '70 GMC Sierra Grande. The engine hasn't been in the truck in a few years and was last run on propane but I want to get it back in the truck sooner rather than later.

What I need is a good shop to work on it for me, I'm in Leader, S.K. and the preferred places to take it would be Regina, Saskatoon or Medicince Hat. I know we have many Sask. and Alberta members so I'm hoping someone could point me towards a good place for the rebuild.

Thanks for the help!!

Board member Z16 works at a machine shop/rebuilder in Medicine Hat. I would PM him and see what he can do for you, as he obviously has an interest in our trucks. Also I have always had good luck with Auto Trends in Saskatoon. They are a privately owned speed shop and are great to deal with, but might not be the cheapest. Hope this helps.

Great!! Thanks for the info.

Would definately be nice to have someone who appreciates these trucks doing the work.

Northside Automotive is a pretty decent rebuilder in Saskatoon. I get them to do my work. ABS in Regina is a serious competition engine builder and has a stellar reputation.
