Heres the deal I picked up a universal 21 circuit GM column harness. Hooked it all up, no power. I have power from the battery to the starter but nithing after. I have the 12 guage soleinod power going from the fuse box to the starter. I have the alternator power coming from the harness to the stud on the back of the alternator to one side of the plug and the alternator exciter to the other side. I finally just put the soleinod wire direstly to the battery just to see if I was getting power to the fuse box. I got the starter to click but no start. This is with a brand new battery. Also no guages work.

Another issue is the wiring on the headlight switch. Does anyone know the numbers on the back of the switch and what wires connect to them.

I need some help I discribed the problem best I can but it is probably hard to under stand. I am definetly not a wiring guy, but by reading the wiring directions I thought everything was right.

Do you have a neutral safety switch?

yes but it is not in the truck yet
