Rg milehightoyz 09-06-2006, 11:48 AM what all was done to the windshield frame? That looks killer. slogo 09-06-2006, 03:43 PM what all was done to the windshield frame? That looks killer. Had to start by fnding one with no rust, after that i chopped it off and down 2.5'' and laid it back 3.0'' I shaved off the drip rail and removed the lip that holds the rubber in place and capped the ends. my goal was to make the hood dash and windsheld all flow together. getting the winshield cut in a few days if i'm lucky. slogo 05-13-2007, 09:10 PM Got a little done, need to sand and buff bed sides then spray in the bed liner and put it all back together:whine: . feels good to be so close, but there's still a ton of work to be done. Thanks for the comments on my thread. rancid 05-28-2007, 10:47 PM now that really makes me want to get mine done. rancid 05-30-2007, 08:54 PM hers one with the roof cut off, still going to shave the gutter and round off all of with shield frame with some half round and even half round over the windshield posts. i think i will also after joing the bedsides to the cab i will use ssome half round over the tailgate and bed and doors. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a352/deicide_/001-1.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a352/deicide_/002-1.jpg slogo 05-30-2007, 09:00 PM Looks like you got the right idea, nice work. u gonna chop it? rancid 05-30-2007, 09:16 PM i put the truck bench in and since it has a little longer wheelbase, i think i might have to notch the back coner of the seat just a little and i will have a full bench instead of the littler blazer seat. but we will see what i got myself into, but after really looking it over i dont think it will be that bad other than the setting up the rear body mounts. but it will get done. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a352/deicide_/005.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a352/deicide_/007-1.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a352/deicide_/014.jpg rancid 05-30-2007, 09:35 PM i might take 2-3 inches off and lean it just a bit. keep bringing those pics, i started my chage of plans on the shortbed after seeing yours. what size of a c-notch do you have and how low did you go. slogo 05-30-2007, 09:52 PM i might take 2-3 inches off and lean it just a bit. keep bringing those pics, i started my chage of plans on the shortbed after seeing yours. what size of a c-notch do you have and how low did you go.
