What is a good company to buy a 4" cowl from for a 67-72 pickem up truck?

man i really cant tell you a good company that makes a 4 inch cowl. goodmark makes some cowls but there only like 2 inch. on my truck i bought a fiberglass scoop from a swap meet and took a spare hood and riveted and smooted it down to the hood after cutting a hole in the hood for the cowl effect. i know this isnt the answer to your question but its an idea. heres my truck. ill try to get a better pic tomorow.

decide if a cowl is right for your truck
ALot of people i know get a cowl just to get one.
In my opinion i dont like a large cowl on a lowered truck.
If anything get one with a very small rise to it.
Also if you truck is completely shaved it seems to me that the whole truck is smooth and then there is this huge bump in the hood. Doesnt look right to me but this is all just my OPINION
When you do go to buy one buy a good quality one for sure.
For body parts like that i look in show truck magazines.

Last night i was looking at some trucks on the web and saw a a few lowered trucks with cowls that i really like.
There are always exceptions and im sure yours will turn out great and what matters most is what you like.

You will not find a steel 4" cowl induction hood. :( www.USBody.com offers excellent fiberglass hoods! :D

i read you post and realized with ur blower you really need a cowl.
Get the biggest cowl you can $H@T cut a damn whole in your hood and show that blower off

I have a 4in hood from us body it looks good minus the right side where it is made funky and doesn't match up to the fender real well.

Steel scoop. Goodmark now makes just the scoop that looks like the center of the hood and also flat. The scoop is about 6"(?) in height. Just a option. I have not checked out their site to see if it is on there yet. But I saw the scoops last Friday while on my latest Goodmark trip.
