Welcome to the club..lol I would use the 4X4 frame myself, but I like 4X4s. Suburbans and Panels do not make practical 4X4s but they do look cool, but a dropped Panel looks sweet too!! This is why I own so many trucks..lol I like having it both ways!!! lol WES Joe67 08-24-2006, 12:30 PM Nice panels are hard to come buy, original 4x4s even more rare. Post up some pics :D 68plus4sub 08-24-2006, 01:47 PM Drop It. Panels are sooooo cool on the ground! LUV2XCLR8 08-24-2006, 05:52 PM Bag it baby :metal: PanelDeland 08-24-2006, 08:37 PM 2 1/2 spindles and 4 in springs in the rear and drive that baby. alschevy 08-24-2006, 08:50 PM the panel trurks are hard too find and 1970 was the last year they where made da-burb 08-24-2006, 10:48 PM I am having the same conversation with myself. My 69 Panel could go on a spare 72 suburban chassis with a bb 402/th400/posi 3.08 rear....or...I also have a spare 71-72 half ton 4x4 suburban chassis to use. I flip-flop on the answer every time I think about it. 75Chevy90Kawi 08-25-2006, 12:27 AM post some pics first, but dropped just a BIT (not bagged!) would look sick i think 72LoBurb 08-25-2006, 02:59 AM Bag it! With bags you'll have the option of ride height, then lay it out at cruises/shows. Steven B 08-25-2006, 10:42 AM Thanks for the replys. I didn't get to take pics last night so i'll try tonight. Oh, it's a SBC with a 700R4. Livrat 08-28-2006, 12:35 AM Here are the pictures of the 68 panel posted for Steven scotto0609 08-28-2006, 09:34 PM I put my 67 panel on a 69 suburban frame and loved it!:metal: GIZZ 09-29-2006, 01:40 AM that panel looks very good. what did you pay for that if you dont mind me asking, still looking for one this clean. Steven B 09-29-2006, 04:14 PM A little more than I wanted to, but the exterior seems to be in good shape. A little rust in the floor. Runs and stops, so can't complain. Decided to put it on the 4x4 frame and maybe upgrade it to 3/4 ton jaros44sr 09-29-2006, 05:05 PM You read my mind Stephen, Saw a pic. of one the other day and liked it, more room them my Jimmy.
