I've always wanted one. I came across one this weekend at the Springfeild MO. yearly auto swapmeet. It was the right price and in good shape,
1986 4x4 305/700r4 101,000 miles (factory dash clock still works!)
It needs tires and wheels, those wheels are fugly. I'm thinking of a 4" lift and
33x12.50x15's bfg's and classic MT wheels. I know everybody has these wheels but they look so good.
I'll post pics in a bit!!

Nice looking truck. I think your plans for that are right on. It's amazing, even the side adhesive trim looks to be in good shape!

Looks clean. Those wheels are "totally 80's retro" dude. Better hang on to them. They are prone to come back in style soon.

Nice looking blazer. My brother had a '75 Monte Carlo painted dark purple with a set of turbines on it (with the slots painted purple), looked sharp, but the car was a throwback to the seventies as it was.

Bad news: my wife drove it today and fell in love with it.
Good news: now that she likes it I can have the money to mod it.

Nice looking Blazer, You are right got to lose the wheels. You could put them on a 70's van. They would look right at home there.

Nice Blazer! I'm liking the color a lot. Those wheels don't look too bad, but it does make that picture look like it was taken back in the disco era. I'm pretty sure they will make a come back eventually. I had those seemingly outdated 10 hole chrome wheels on my 78 and now the base model wheel for GM trucks is are those 17" steel wheels with the holes in them. Funny how stuff goes around. Not looking forward to the tiny extreme offset wheels and hydraulics coming back though.;)

Nice Blazer.I put simular wheels on my`90 when it was new to give it a more "throw-back" look, since I knew it was such an older style body at that point.
