I figured it was about time to post in the "newbie" area. I'm Jamie from Delran, NJ (near Moorestown/Cherry Hill) and I've been watching and posting for a while but don't have my truck yet. It's a '71 C10 Burb still in Az waiting to be shipped, but I do have some pics...

I already bought Cheyenne Super woodgrain dash kit (bezel, glove box door & ash tray) and Suburban '72 woodgrain door panels (front and rear), and I plan to replace all the faux woodgrain with real walnut. I also got a pair of buddy buckets which I plan to re-cover myself with some combination of vinyl/houndstooth. I also plan to re-apply lower trim and apply woodgrain tape to it, and modify a set of longhorn upper trim to fit. I've thought about adding fleetside woodgrain tailgate trim. I don't know about engine mods (it has a rebuilt 350/350) - I've been thinking about intake & headers + dual exhaust, mainly cuz it looks cool, but if there's not much of a performance or fuel economy gain I may not bother. The owner says he only gets 9 mpg, so I suspect either the timing is off or it's got a performance cam or something. Anyway, that's all I can think of. Any other ideas?

-Jamie
