You know...for us backtard (not a typo) mechanics who do not do this for a living...really a need a site like this. There are so many of you who have busted kuckles over the things we are going to attempt, that we can learn and save skin for another project.

I have more money now that my kids are raised, I understand money a whole lot better and I make more now as well...that i like doing it myself. I can hire someone to do it but I take great satisfaction and pleasure of doing it myself.

Yes I am buying ebfabman's DVDs and a welder and lots of stuff from the site vendors. And more stuff too.

My only problem is that I am unsure of the correct words to search for. And no one seems to slam someone for asking the obvious question...they simply direct them to a thread that already took place.

I also have more energy than I have sense sometimes.

This site is a jewel.

Keep up the great work.

Tim

Our search function is not working very well at the moment.
The admins are working on it.

Just go ahead and post your question in the approiate forum and someone will help or give direction for help.

My wife gets mad at me, seriously, because Im on here more than Im with her in the evenings after work sometimes. lol. I guess its like a second home to me. Ive learned so much. My father taught me everything I new about cars and trucks and especially Chevy's up until I joined the service. Now since I found this site, I teach him something everytime we talk or see each other. Its great!
