I have a buddy who's son races a 66 nova wagon in the mid tens there. Been wanting to get over the hill and visit sometime.

that sounds like Frank Harder jr. (i dont know him i just know the name from the website and the track)
pretty hot wagon once he got it to hook up. he broke something a few weeks ago 'cause i remember it being towed on the return road
he seems to be a big fan of burnouts

street drags are this sat night at the track

You are correct, Frank "FRANCO" Hader Jr. Known his dad for too many years. He used to run a nova sedan, wrecked that, stuffed the engine in the wagon and turns better ET's. Go figure.

May need to make the trip if the weekend allows. Need to smog and register my 73 K5 & 79 K20 Projects. So, cash and timing are tight.

Do they run year 'round at Redding?? Reno-Fernley Raceway, over here, runs drags May thru Nov. But just once a month.

Didn't mean to Highjack the post.

they run approx march through october/november. late winter and early spring stuff gets rained out a lot. they have the regular points races and then the street legal drags twice a month or so (it varies on the month). i still haven't ran my truck yet. something always needs to be replaced ('cause it sits too long)
www.reddingdragstrip.net is the website if you wanna check it out
