I have been looking at the posts for several weeks and this is a really neat place to hang out, lot's of good looking iron, and a wealth of info.

Have owned several 68 - 72 trucks thru the years, two of them new, a 68-327 and a 72-402 BB, also had a 71 4WD 1/2 ton. Street rods has been our hobby for years, but have wanted another truck for a while.

We ran across this truck at the swap meet at the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nats in Pueblo, Co. back in June. Looked at it 4 times before I made up my mind. Complete ground up build with new GM 330 HP and 4L60 tranny. All new parts. Truck is one owner, have all original papers and protecto plate, even the seat covers are original. I always called this color "baby _ _ _ _" yellow, but my wife calls it mayo and mustard, does sound a little better.

Very sweet Jimmy Hotrod! Welcome from another newbie of this board. Do you by chance know what brand of headers you have? Any clearance issues with them?

Thanks.

Yea right, haven't had the time to change them. I did paint over the "Chevy" on the USA-1 license plate on the front.Maybe this weekend ? I have the same covers on a '40 Ford coupe with a ramjet motor.

xmitsu10, I do not know, but I have all the receipts. I will check it out and let you know. They are midlength headers and or jet hot coated, no fit problems so far.

xmitsu10, the headers you asked about are made by Ceramacoate, they were purchased @ Performance Associates in Pueblo, Co. Hope that helps
