Have you rebooted in safemode and run antivirus and spybot? I would try that and maybe purge some stuff off the HDD...cookies and whatnot.

First, get rid of any temp files. See this post:

Follow it to the letter, be very careful not to skip any steps.
As far as the computer goes ... no single spyware/adware/virus scanner can really cover all the bases. I spent the past 7 hours cleaning a computer that one of my employees boffed up while looking for serial numbers for a pirated software application. He didn't install anything - he just happened to stumble across a webpage that infected him (he skipped a Windows update a couple months ago that was his downfall).
If you want to submit a Hijackthis log, I'll look it over. Other than cleaning up using CCleaner as prescribed, the only other help I think I can offer is to tell you what kind of unnecessary crap you could remove by reviewing that Hijackthis log. Will be happy to help.

Download Hijackthis to somewhere safe on your computer: http://www.filehippo.com/download/14cce5b0c6b76d58d0605479d2f1fc29/download/?nodl=1
Run it. Choose "Scan and save logfile".
Copy and paste the contents of the logfile that will pop-up after doing that into a new post here and I'll look it over.
