You need to contact your internet provider to help get your email setup (you should be able to send pics once it is properly setup).

As for cleaning out the cookies and other crap, for the easiest way to get rid of any temp files and other stuff - See this post:

Follow it to the letter, be very careful not to skip any steps.

It's important to understand you don't "subscribe" to Outlook or Outlook Express. These two programs simply let you send and receive emails using an account that someone has provided to you (normally your internet provider). So, you're not really subscribing to anything per se - you're just using one of the programs to access an email account someone has already setup for you online.

I'm back . Time to sort out the Hotmail problem , this is what it says:
Could not connect to hotmail .
Hotmail no longer allows email access via outlook express for free email accounts .
Comcast is my provider , they were no help . ( No really )
Any thoughts ? Tks ............................................. 409

More info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/878462

Bottom line: Only paid Hotmail accounts will work correctly with Outlook Express. If you want to use Outlook Express to access your Hotmail account, you must have an MSN subscription. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://upgrade.msn.com

So .... yeah. I did not know about this, so thanks for the heads-up.

So, as I see it, you've really got three options: 1) Upgrade your hotmail account or 2) Only use hotmail by going on the web at www.hotmail.com or 3) Get some other free email account you can use with Outlook Express.

I know this sucks, but ... nothing free lasts forever - and $20 per year is not a bad deal to maintain your existing email account and have it work with Ourlook Express like you want it to (you probably will NOT need to make changes to Outlook Express to get this to work - just pay, give it 24-48 hours and it should take :)). I don't know for sure on this though - or if this is in your budget.
