90 GMC Half ton, Replacing the pitman arm and in taking off the steeringbox I twisted a line to the PS pump. I now need to get the pump off! All the bolts seem some what hidden... how do i get it off? Am I missing something? An exploded view would be awesome I can't seem to find one

you need to remove the pulley first.

i figured that.... looks like i need a puller tho? no holes to get behind it :confused:

Yes, there is a special puller for taking the pulley off. It grabs the flange on the hub of the pulley. There is also a special tool for installing the pulley, too. It threads into the hole in the pump shaft, and you turn a nut while holding the pulley and it pushes the pulley back on. As you probably guessed, a long bolt with a nut and some large washers will work, too! Just don't try to hammer the pulley back on. And, install the pulley so that the flange is flush with the end of the pump shaft. It's easy to push it on too far.
