Hello,
My friend told me about this site and I thought I'd try ya'll out. My name is Megan, I own a '72 C-20. I live in Hillsboro Oregon. I currently reside in an apartment complex making it hard to work on "Hank" when it rains, which is always and often. I just got my hands on the bad boy about a month ago. I have a couple small projects so far, but would like to one day show him. Right now my biggest project is the installation of my Dixieland horn, I got the compressors, the horns brackets and button, but no wiring. I am tempted to have it installed professionally, but the reason I got Hank was to learn **** like this.
In the long run I would like to remove my current bed and replace with something nicer, do a custom paint job, and possibly raise Hank up another 5" or so...

Dang-it. Hank is a pretty big boy. Nice looking rig.
I agree on the 'nice boots' comment above. Not bad looking boot-actuators either!
There is hours & hours of learning that can be found on this board. You owe which-ever-friend-pointed-you-this-way a cold drink.

Have fun and make friends with the girls quick. They will help you fend-off the marriage proposals you are sure to get!!!

Hank is a very lucky truck !
There is plenty of help here for you . Wiring in the horn shouldn't be a real tough job . Someone here will help you out with wiring diagrams or links to lead you in the right path .
Just as soon as the tonques stop dropping and you settle in .
You will find everyone here is friendly and helpful . A good attitude and a sense of humor is the best way to become a member of this great community , Welcome !

She is from Oregon, sun is hit and miss up here.

Actually this summer she doesn't have an excuse, it has been fantastic for the last four months. My yard is crispy but I haven't had any excuse not to go outside. I have gotten a lot of work done on my vehicles thanks to the nice weather.

Welcome Megan,
You will find alot of knowledge and input on this sight. Nice truck and boots. They seem to go together like "Brown Beans and Corn Bread". It's a southern thing. Good luck, keep in touch and let us know the progress you make on Hank.
