What are you guys running for C. A .I. I am looking at putting one on my 97 TAHOE 5.7 cant really afford $200+ for the one in Summitt.I have seen some on e-bay for around $60 why the big $$$ in Summitt.Any suggestions on CAI or filters will be considered.APPRECIATE IT C-YA

For the time being, I am running a standard 14" X 4" K&N air filter on top of my TBI unit. It looks just like a carb setup, but the effeciency is slighlty affected on a hot summer day. The FIPK setup would move the air intake away from the motor, but this works real well for everyday useage. I am presently working on a Vortec, TPI unit for my truck and it will have a modified tube with a K&N filter on it for the filtration. since ther is not one made for the truck and a TPI intake, I am planning on converting a 95 Impala SS FIPK tibe to work in the truck. It looks easy so far.
