just thought i would post a pic of my toy i just purchased for a small fee right now it has a 4.3 5spd i'm rebuilding a 5.7 30 over for it righ now i bought a 40 series flow master with 3 inch in 2.5 dual out with 4 inch buy 16 inch tips,oh and i'm lowering the back 3 inch's whats everyone think or what i could do more i haven't hough of a colour yet but it's in the making,post pics of your ride's if u like.............

Nice looking truck. There are a couple of threads on here about swapping a 5.7 in place of a 4.3. You may want to look them up. I did the same swap to my truck. Another thing about the 3" drop in the rear....before you by a lowering kit to do it, look at someone elses lowering job to make sure you get what you want. I put a 4" drop in mine and you cannot tell it. It was a DJM kit with a 3" in the front and 4" in the rear. Although the kit is good, I think my problem is the rear leafs. A buddy of mine dropped his with shackles only and it slammed his truck. My kit comprised of replacing the front and rear spring hangers (on the rear) and longer shackles. It does not looked dropped at all. So I am removing the thick helper spring to see if I can get it down a little further. But before you spend, check someone elses drop / kit out.

thanks a i'll will check that out because some one told me tha it would be better if i just took that thick helper out and one above it i would be happy the wat it sits..........seei just want the tops of the fender wells even with the tire's

my uncle did shackles on his and it leveled his out but somone did mine before i bought it and it was hangers only so the guy i org bought it from me an him put shackles and took the over load out and it looked nice but when i got it i took out the middle lead and it lowered it alot more
