Hey guys, I know there has been quite a few of you that are looking for shaft radios. Well I just got back from walmart and they were carrying them again. It is black, analog tune, has jack for cd or ipod and 30 watts power. Made by durabrand. The price at our walmart in mustang was 27.72. part # DB410. I thought you might like to know. :)

I saw that the other day also . Picked up a couple to put in my trucks. They don't have much power as far as volume is concerned and no clock and manual tuning - but hey for $27 bucks it beats the heck out of only AM

Awesome! -- That will work perfect for my sirius tuner. And will certainly look better than the empty space that's there now!

OK, I might bite on one of those, but I just put in a new factory type mono speaker in the truck a few years ago. Can I just tie the left and right front speaker leads together, and same with the front grounds and hook it to the mono speaker ? I know thats not "right", impedance deal or something, but would it work ?

Glad to be of service. I gues next time at walmart I will pick one up. I know finding cheap shaft radios is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I do wish it would have been digital tune. Not a fan of custom auto sound.IE- price and quality of radio.

I was told to never run one speaker off two channels becuase they send mixed signals. I didn't understand it but many people told me not to lol

GM why not just put one more speaker under or behind seat and enjoy stereo sound
