Registered for the site yesterday after finding ya through a Google search, Went to the drags today and met a guy wearing a 67-72chevytrucks.com sweat shirt. That was pritty ironic. Sorry I didn't get his name but he had a real nice 71 super charged 454 Fleet side.
Me, I have a 71 Step side that I'm restoring/rodding. I was with my dad when he bought it brand new in Nov. 1970 in Willmington N.C. I believe. The truck was passed on to my younger brother who drove it the way most 18 year olds do. He had it till 2003 and I've been working on it since.
I'm doing a frame off resto with the intent of making it into a Small Block 10.50 bracket racer. Hope to be ready for the track next summer. You know how these projects go.
