Has anyone on the board done this? I have been to Badpanl's site and checked it out,quite helpfull,but what I would like to see is those type of pic's of a burb if possible.His is a 6" chop and I am wanting to do 3-4".I have some good chopping "how to" books coming ,but more info the better.Any info/input greatly appreciated.Thanks

if you make pictures of straight in front and straight at the side make a couple of prints of then and start cutting those up to lower the roofline , this will give you a basic idea where you need to cut to get it to sit right and get the different pieces to line up .
only thing is that it whont show you where the strengthning ribs are and if you need to make channels (like in pillars) wider to make it fit
a plastic model would be even better but there not a lot of those on the market

you can see my progress tgo date under paint and body under title "Project outline 71 chop top. I'm far from finished and I'm working on a mock up top but I've learned plenty so far. and will pass on what I know. I would advise that you read martinsr cooments on the thread , He's also posted pics of his first chop from the mid 70's.
