Just signed up after locating you folks a while ago. Bookmarked the site, but put it in a wierd place and couldn't find it again.
Oh, well. On to the good stuff.
I have a rusty but trusty 1981 1/2 ton 4X4 305CID auto. Nothing too fancy, it's all stock but the manual hubs. It's mainly used to haul firewood and yard equipment. You know, all the stuff the wife says, "Eewwww, don't put that in my car!!!" :)
Recently a coworker of mine told me about a 1990 Silverado that his neighbor has that I'm going to pick up. The engine is blown out on his, so I figure I'll take mine out and put his throttle body manifold onto my engine and drop it in, then make my original truck into a wood hauling trailer.
I'll be making a post later about any bits and bobs I don't need off the front half that'll be up for donation, so if you're going to need anything (light assemblies, etc) and can hold off for about 4-6 months....
