View Full Version : Hello, SO CAL Newbie
turbochevy 11-28-2006, 01:56 AM Hello all, I purchaed a 1970 C10 a few weeks ago and I am starting a 24 month build on it that will include a Gen III Chevy LQ4 with forged internals with a T70 Turbo. I have some big plans for this truck and I am looking forward to sharing the progress with the board! I am sure I will tap the resources here and use the search button OFTEN! Thanks for a great site!!

the truck is pretty much original from 70 so everything is there. There are the usual dents and knicks, but the truck is complete. I have found only one spot of serious rust, and its not even that bad....
I am going to pick up some Rally wheels tomorrow 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the rear. I hope to have the brothers trucks front disk / drop conversion coming in the next week, I will post up some pics then. The motor should be done in the next two weeks and ready for install. I am planning a 3 stage build that will take about 24-36 months to make it easier on the bank! I will post up some pics of the new wheels once I get em!
