We have a 62 c10 and I can get my hands on a built 350 roller motor and the guy has a tune port with new injectors and intake that can go with the motor. The engine is a 87 Iroc 350.I would love to hook it to a 700r4...what would I need to mount the tranny.
Our 62 is a 3 speed on the colume.
the engine is the straight 6 cyl.Where to go to get the correct motor mounts for the 350 and what Computer management system do i need for the TPI?

Street and Performance is a good source. They are a little spendy, but have quality pieces and good support.

Here is where I picked up my cross member for the 700R4. It is for the 63-72, I do not know what the difference would be. You could ask them, and see if they make it for the 62. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=280037116884&rd=1,1 I have built my own cross members for other projects I have done in the past, but these seemed resonable enough for me not to mess with doing my own.

I put in a 350 (building a new 383 right now) and a 700R4, used 3" x 1/2" strap for the 700R4 crossmember, bolted from outer frame rail to outer frame rail, I can take some picks if you need them. as for motor mounts I am not sure if your 350 TBI is diffirent than the Non TBI I used?
