Hi Shifty,
Here's the Hijack this log off of my XP pc. Have a look and see if there's anything weird.
Thanks,
Ron

Nope, looks clean as a whistle. I notice that Hughes did setup your computer to filter all of your traffic. Here are the two lines that show this:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=192.168.0.1:87
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = systemcontrolcenter.com;HughesNetsupport.com;192.168.0.1;<local>
Removing them may interrupt your internet connection. One way to find out if this could be part of your problem would be to "Scan" using Hijackthis on your Win2000 machine and see if this line also exists there - if it does not, I highly suggest running Hijackthis on the XP machine, then choosing "Scan only", put a checkmark next to both of those lines and click the "FIX" button. Afterwards, reboot the machine and try to hit the webpage you want again.
I also notice that the Microsoft network diagnostics tool on your machine is not fully installed properly. Here is a link to re-download it if you should be so inclined.

There is nothing really bad on your machine - looks really good (good job!). I don't get to see that too often!
