Blackcypress-EB 12-08-2006, 04:27 PM I'm a day late and a dollar short,
VinceGMC 12-08-2006, 06:14 PM thanks alot guys. That gives me some ideas.Probably not repaint it,it is showing 86k and I think it will stay original as it can.
The black rims are the hotness....lol

You're going to have trouble with fitment if you go that style (the "tuner" look). Even when you find the right (RWD) offset, they're not likely to come in the right bolt spacing.

not going for the tuner look, just wanted to see what black rims woud look like with this color scheme.
and I have found a few rims in black and chrome that fits the truck already. Also, you can have rims made.
annnnndddd....you can have the center of any rim powdercoated and still retain the polished lip.
soooooo.....I think finding the black rims with polished lip will be no problem. If I do,I will just have custom spacers made and change the lug pattern to accomodate my rims
thanks for the heads up :aiiet:
underdog8704 12-10-2006, 08:45 AM those rally wheels fit that truck really well. you could get some billet ones of those and powder coat the center? just my opinion.
not going for the tuner look...
Whatever term you want to use...

I could easily go with chrome rims, but everyone and there mother has those. And the color scheme on this truck begs for something a little different.
I would even say if you took a set of rally's and powdercoated the center black, that isn't "tuner".That would be different..unique even...unusual maybe:)
But not "tuner"
And I a about unusual.
see my car,it was a 4 banger but now has a v8(no "ricer" or "tuner" here). And the rims..oh boy...how about this...+20mm offset on the front rims and -10 on the rears.Finding a set to go this truck will be a piece of cake, believe me :metal:

and the rally's above do look good, kinda old school.esp with the big ole white letters
