It works OK in pshop, but in real life, I think it would be hard to pull off without looking like a bad transplant. The corners of the truck hood/fender don't really lend themselves to the more rounded lines of the 67/68 grille opening. Also, you'd have to figure out how to keep the kink in the center of the grille while dealing with the fact that the 80's front end is straight as a board across the middle (maybe... just maybe, you could get away with the mix on a 73+ where the corners are a little softer).

It was a nice thought anyway.
