I just moved the Nova outside yesterday. I can walk in the garage now! It is only temporary as I plan to tear the cab and bed back off to finish off the frame work. I will take some pics this weekend.

Can't ever have enough room ,it seems like .. Looking to buy a an older house w/some land and a good size pole barn .But they don't come easy or cheap.Right now my garage is all tied up w/ the Camaro & '55 truck .My poor little Chevy S10 Extreme(blends in -its white ) has to sit outside with my Dodge Ram Van (work truck ).... Come Spring ,the Camaro & mabe S10 will be up for sale .Gain more room & $$$$$$$$$ to sink into the ' 55 & maybe buy another toy ...:metal:

Its a single door atleast...lol, I can get my truck all the way against the wall and be able to squeeze the car in there, but its to tight to do anything with both in there

Thats my problem I can't bare to part with my rides. I told my wife when I die you can sell everything, but until then let me be happy.lol

I'm trying to talk her into letting me add on to the garage. That talk is not going to well.

It doesn't matter what size garage you have, it always seems to get filled up and you end up with no room to work. I just sold my house with a tight 14' x 25' garage, no room to really tear anything down.

There is never enough room no matter what. We are working in my dads place and it is 45x80. We have his truck, my camaro, a ski boat, 2 tractors and some other crap and there is still not enough room to spread out. But I am working on that...getting rid of some of the junk in there.

Have you tried the "it will appreciate the property value" approach??:haha:

I have a two car packed with my 51 and my Camaro, as well as some gardening stuff, some of the kids toys etc. It gets interesting at times! My dream is to build a real shop and let my wife just have the current garage.

Kabwe, This is his dream shop...for as long as I can remember he wanted a big shop and now he has it. It is still not completely done, we are still wiring some things and trying to sort out stuff. I wish it was mine...I have a little 2 car garage but he let me take my car there to do some welding. One of these days I will take a few shots of the shop and post them.

Yeah Bernie do that. I wish I had some place to just house the 55 while I worked on the truck I would have enough room then.

Have you checked out this site http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ it may gave your dad some great ideas of what to do with his shop.

The last house I bought had no garage so I built a 24 x 36. I out grew it before it was finished. On this house I decided that a 20 car garage was a must in addition to the 3 car that the house had...........Guess what?!?!?!!

There both full!!!!!!!

That guy is 6'2"... It has completed projects, projects waiting to be started and a few parts trucks being torn down. Also my old 72 GMC 5500 dump truck has a place of honor along with a an area sectioned off as a workshop.

There is actually 1 full bay that is empty that we use for day to day repairs or spur of the moment projects.
