The van is loaded, travel insurance and all documents ready to go, and the little one went to bed early. We are so ready, which is scary. I just started the dishwasher and the dryer is running. The extra cars are tucked away in the garage and I have kissed the dually goodbye, just wasn't practical for this trip with the youngin'. See y'all on Friday.

Glad to hear you made it, Woody (Woodridge) and his wife made it in last
night around 10:30. Jodie called (GMCJunkie) and they were 3 hours out,
she was going to stop mt side of Nashville somewhere for a quick nap. If
all goes well she should be here around 6:30 and we wil all pull out at 7,
Sikeston around 9ish, and then on to King Arthurs around Noonish. :hm:

Alright guys, I'm outta here in a 1/2 hour or so. Should be there between 5 & 7 (have a stop to make in St. Louis, don't know how long it will take).

I wish I had gone now. I was up to 4:00 this morning bailing an employee out of harris county jail. Had too much to drink after work and ass ended a truck.

Wife and I just got home a little while ago. Meet was great! Had a great time and was glad to meet alot of people from the board. :) Here are a few pics of trucks that were there...Will post a few more later...

We made it to Bull Shoals ark. Had a great time and thanks to everyone. Hope I can make it next year no mater where it is. Won't be home till next weekend so no pics till then. Thanks again to all and hi to all my new friends!!

I stumbled in (sober :lol:) around 8:00 tonight. It sure is nice to be home, but what a trip! It was nice meeting as many people as I did, and I cannot wait for the next one.

I made it as far as Dallas. 11 hours was enough so we're staying at a hotel(in the hot tub right now:)) and we'll drive the other 4 or 5 tomorrow. I had a great time and am proud to be affiliated with such a fine group of people. Hope everyone else makes it home safe.

Just walked in the door, long trip by myself although I had Luv in front of me and Yellow69 behind part of the way but the last third was all me with no one to talk to except myself and I'm not a very good conversationalist. Had a great time and am glad to be able to put faces to names now. Looking forward to next year!

We made it home about 6:30 with no problems. I'm glad I was able to be there and put some names with faces. I didn't get to meet everyone there, but I did meet some great people, and made some great friends. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in putting together a great meet.

Made it home finally! Did the scenic trip back and a 10 hour drive only took 17.:rolleyes: Now it's off to work in 2 hours, for 12 hours of fun.:whine: Had a great time! Josh, Liz and Boss did it up right and it was a blast! Thanks to rage for keeping everything running smooth and a special shout out to all the guys who hammered on Boss's truck!

well guys, it's 4:12 in the A.M., I just got home about a 1/2 hr ago. I got to drive longhorn jeff's jimmy the first leg of the trip home (it's a longhorn tradition, i always flog his stiff a bit) and hopped back in the van with Shela and Jason. Jeff made it home, he called while I was still on the road, no problems other than his starter crappin out again (I'm thinking wireing issue... Jeff... check the back of the ignition switch, I just thought of that a few hrs ago) Longhoair sprinted the last 100 miles or so, he has to be to work in a couple hrs... didn't see his sweet little mini-panel in the ditch, so i know he made it home... And Jason is headed up to the cleaveland area to stop at Summit Racing, he'll be home tomorow. (I offered my bed to them, they just kept on goin though)

I've been to 2 mini-meets, 2 ohio meets, but this one was by far the best one I ever attended. I don't think we coulda asked for better weather (considering it was MO in july), better hosts, better ANYTHING... and I KNOW we couldn't have asked for a better group of cool people to do this with.
The Spouses, and other family members who aren't even into the trucks, all seemed to be smilin and having a good time right beside there truck-aholic family members. i thought THAT was great. A 3 day party is a lot to ask out of the family members, but they all did it, and did it with a smile.


Did anyone do a head count> I know I would like to know who was there, and where they all came from. I have a map of the U.S. that I place push pins in at the location of every member I have met. I was up to 33 or so last week.... that number just grew QUITE a bit.

First one I've ever been to but it was a great time. I agree about the spouses who aren't on the board really having a good time. My wife had a great time thanks to the "dark side". :crazy: Andy is a complete nut and has a very twisted sense of humor, but that's why we fit in so good. :cool: Now my wife wants to join the board so she can continue to talk to all those she met. Thanks everyone for the great time and look forward to doing it again (go ahead Andy, make something dirty of that). :lol:

I got home yesteday, my van was still having problems, and only attended on saturday.. took my dad and my son, and both had a great time! My dad especially loved it, and this meet is very special to me, as I had 3 generations of "ramblers" there. I had to take him home that night and hoped to come back sunday, but with the van not running right, I tinkered on it, and got back home.. I'll post some pics today as well..

Unfortunately i didnt get any shots of the surrounding area. I took a few on the way home of the surrounding area around rolla (i think). thats about all the scenery shots i took.

I made it in about 3:15am or so. ADHD should have made it about 30 mins later. We took the scenic route down 7 through the ozarks. beautiful country all the way. that 10 hr trip turned into 15, (i hear ya krue) but it was a good trip. It was awesome to meet everyone and put faces to names. Thanks to Boss, Liz, Josh, and the rest of the crew for a great meet! already gettin' the truck ready for next year!
