Just got through talking to a buddy and he is going to try to make it with his 72. I can taste the bar-b-q and hear the katydids already.

I got the vacation time approved, and if all goes as planned, we will be there!!!

I got lucky, I connected to the warehouse wi-fi while I'm in the dock unloading in LA. You bet BOSS the food at your bros diner was great. I can't wait to meet everybody that comes to the meet:c2:

Just like 50 miles west of Norwood is one of the nicest shopping malls in Missouri. Bass Pro is near there also. You don't have to hunt or fish to enjoy Bass Pro.

I am waiting for offical word before I do anything about a room. I would love to stay on site but I know I won't be able to handle the heat and get any sleep. So will call when it is set up or if I can talk my buddy Dennis into bringing his camper. But knowing me this will turn out like the 3 day events at the drag strip nobody will get any sleep because they don't want to miss any of the fun. I'm getting to old for all of this.....

I just booked a campsite at Missouri Park Campground which is 6 miles from Norwood. I have a big RV and like to have electric. If anyone else is interested here's the info. Sounds like a nice place.

It was $22 per night which includes full hook up (electric, water, sewer) They also have a pool and fishing lake. The spots are pull thru,which is good cause backing up with that thing is not so easy! My kid is coming and bringing his 93 Suburban which he has all tricked out (20" wheels, 1200 watt stereo) and he is pulling the trailer. I'm driving my 70 Stepside. They have more spots, but she said it is filling up. They also have tent camping for $15 but I don't know what that includes. I am staying there Friday & Saturday night.
