Just made my reservations at the Days Inn. I'll be leaving out of north Texas Thursday morning and starting back Sunday morning. If anybody wants to cruise up around the same time, give me a shout. I think the whole thing's gonna be a hoot!!:metal:

Reservations made at Days INN in Mountain Grove. We can't leave until Saturday morning so we will be staying Sat. Night. Cost of the room was $57.90 with a King bed and all taxes included. Customer Rep at motel stated that I was just the third party making reservations for that weekend so far. So, rooms are still available.

Also, I was just wondering if members can pay supporter dues at the get together or not????

I'll have a week off from work so we'll see, should probably start working on the beast again, eh?

No we didnt get anything here but wind.

We got alot of snow (more blowing than accumulation) and icy roads, I was 250 km west of home when it hit and it took over 6 hours to get home on our version of an interstate (the good ole 401)

All these,"I don`t know what`s going on that weekends",are what I always heard when I`d try to make a plan for a get-away camping trip with friends when I was young.The weekend would come around and I`d go it alone and just meet new people when I got there.THIS IS WHAT~S GOING ON!!!!
That been said,I know I just plain won`t be able to make it do to so much upheaval in my recent life...my mom was displaced to a trailer at my brother`s in-law`s when my dad died.Now her place is uninhabitable do to heavy black mold.Now,my brother`s house burnt down next to her trailer.The trailer`s spared except electric and water that came off the house.Until the house is rebuilt my brother and his family need to cram into the trailer.Mom`s moving around between my sister`s,my place,and other friend`s for now.She`s on a list for a spot in a senior`s apartment building in town up home.And,I need to start tearing 1/2 her house down to rebuild from the funk.
She had a women stay there while my dad was dying and the crazy cat/dog woman left her animals in the house all the time crappin`& peeing,then left the house closed up all summer long.
A long excuse,but that`s why I can`t go.Have fun and get lots of pictures for the rest of us.

It would be great to get to meet you at the board meet in Mo. in July. But you have to take care of your family first for sure. Will cross paths with you sooner or later. I don't have a trip planned up east at the moment but that can change pending my wife waking up in a little bit. Take care buddy and good luck with all that life has thrown at you of late.

Is there a campground nearby? The wife and I thought about doing some camping this summer and that would be a great excuse. It's only 4 hours from me so it's not that long of a drive. Won't be in the 68 though. It wont be reassembled before then.:whine:

I started looking at my projected income vs time left until the meet and its going to be a close one to get the truck finished! Had a busy day today. Unloaded my trailer that had the front cap and bed I got from Hart Rod then Unloaded Mr.T's trailer that had the step bed I got from East Tennessee and mowed the yard. I didn't get the trimming done I run out of daylight. Now for a little quality chill time.

Spent about 20 minutes on the phone with James yesterday on my worthless
trip to Millington, TN. He is doing better, still has a 5lb max pick-up and carry
limt but he's getting stronger (His words) Should be back on here irritating us
in about 1-2 weeks depending on how he feels, just thought I'd share this ;)

I am very shocked and dismayed over the turn out of us northeast board contingent.I asked my wife todayand shesaid to go and have a good time if I can work out the money end of it. I just sat down and read every page of this thread and was surprised at only two n.e. brothers even bothered to chime in.I know we have at least a hundred or more just from Me.Vt. Nh. Ma.Conn.Ri.and Ny. Probably two hundred. A lot of them used to be very active members. I looked it up and it is 1,348 miles one way for me. If i can work up some funds in the next two or three weeks I will be there. If some body would like to car pool and split gas and tolls let me know. I think my 05 silverado will make the trip.
