Thanks Tom PunkyGoose 12-21-2006, 11:51 AM I will do the easy two for you! Eyegore 12-21-2006, 12:11 PM Awesome punkygoose, one more request, can you try the third one? Sorry it doesn't have the tire on it, but man that was quick - thanks again. XXL 12-22-2006, 10:03 PM Sorry it doesn't have the tire on it It's not a tire issue. It's the angle of the wheel. Look for a straight on shot and post it, and it'll be easier to pshop. desertrat 12-23-2006, 12:07 AM I thought it needed a little lift. desertrat 12-23-2006, 12:24 AM Also, you might consider the newer factory "stock" alloy wheels. I see people practically giving them away some times and I don't think they look half bad. cochino12 12-23-2006, 12:35 AM Eyegore, are you keeping your paint the same as it is in the pics? Your truck looks really awesome as it sits. I think it's really difficult making newer rims look "correct" on these older trucks, especially the 8 lugs. I like the eagle's in picture 1. Good luck and make sure you post pics when you get the new rims. Adam desertrat 12-23-2006, 03:31 AM Just playing around with the truck Primer69er 12-23-2006, 11:22 AM find out the exact maker and style of that rim, im sure i can find a suitable pic Primer69er 12-23-2006, 11:45 AM okay i found it, eagle alloy series 102 hows this? http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c364/kennyrounds/eagle.jpg XXL 12-23-2006, 01:37 PM okay i found it, eagle alloy series 102 hows this? http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c364/kennyrounds/eagle.jpg Well done, but it looks like you broke a steering knuckle or something :whine: Primer69er 12-23-2006, 02:34 PM i thought it looked like the front wheels were turned, okay ill try to fix it Primer69er 12-23-2006, 02:45 PM hows this?? better? http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c364/kennyrounds/eagle-1.jpg XXL 12-23-2006, 02:50 PM hows this?? better? http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c364/kennyrounds/eagle-1.jpg Yeah, that straightened it out... but I kind of liked it better with the broken steering ;( Primer69er 12-23-2006, 02:58 PM no pleasing you huh?? j/k Eyegore 12-23-2006, 11:16 PM Well Adam that is not the exact picture of my truck, it is another but looks exactly like it. Desert rat as the attached picture shows I already have the newer factory alloys. I just bought this truck from my oldest son, he couldn't keep it anymore. Funny you kept doing the 4x4, that was his plan all along. But I'm looking at the eagle wheels and adam your right the first one looks like the combo that I'll no doubt go with. Adam also my youngest should get his 80 k10 back from the paint shop, pearl orange, and he's adding the 20-inch wheels with 36" off-road tires, he like your k5 he kinda patterned after it. Thanks again everyone, wish I could learn photoshop, well just staying with autocad for now. take care. Tom XXL 12-25-2006, 12:38 PM Blingety bling... |
