I have a 1998 Blazer that all the dash lights will come on and sometimes it dies but will start right back up. Sometimes when I get in it in the morning the clock is wrong.

Today when I started it, the dash lights came on but it continued to run and after about a quarter mile they went off. Then the power windows would not work-except for the driver side-it still worked.

About 20 miles later I parked it for about 15 minutes, got back in and they all worked. After I was home a few hours I drove to the store(all was fine)picked up a couple of things and got in and I had nothing-as if the battery was dead. I went all the way back and forth with the keys about a half dozen times and then it started and ran great.

Any help is much appreciated. I'm disabled with a back injury and really need to see if me and my dad can fix this.

Please stay safe folks, Art

Sounds like you have an intermittent connection. If you haven't already done so, check all the connections from the battery to the engine and all the grounds.

After that let us know

When it does it the next time, check the wires at the connection box at the firewall. Push on the box and push on the wires one at a time.

I don't know about the blazers, but on the full size trucks and Suburbans that have 2 cables on the positive side of the battery sometimes will work loose and cause an intermittent problem.
