How much of a nightmare would it be to convert my 89 4X4 into a 2wd? I think Id like this old truck a lot better it I could lower it & get rid of all the 4wd crap. I understand getting rid of the transfer case & all that, Im more wondering about electrical & if its even possible to bolt on front suspension stuff. Probably be easier to find a donor chassis? Actually, it would probably be easier to just trade the whole truck for a 2 wheeler?

Assuming this is a 89 with the IFS in it, I can't say its impossible, but would be cheaper to get a 2wd. Not like the older trucks were everything unbolts.

Sell it and buy a 2wd would be the easiest.

But if you need pics of the 2wd frame/suspension for comparison I have one laying in my back yard, wouldn't take anything but a weedeater to get to it.:D
