Hi to all from Baytown Tx.
First of all I want to thank everyone on this site for their help, I have a
71 C-10 swb that I've been working on for about a year, the progress is slow but it's coming along. I have found a lot of good info on this forum and it will sure help my restoration go a little smoother.
This is what it looked like when I picked it up, it has a GM goodwrench 350, with 3 on the tree. I got it for $2500.

then I started working on it

Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm trying to do my best, this is my first real project, I had a 1968 gmc swb but I could never get motivated to work on it and it needed a lot of work, so I sold it, then about 6 months later I saw this one and I fell in love with it.
It has a solid body, the only rust is on the cab floor and of course the rockers, the cab corners and doors and bed are in great shape, once I finish my floor and rockers it will be ready for paint, The motor is about 6 years old and it runs great, it drives almost as smooth as my 02 GMC Sierra.

"What color are you going to paint your truck?"

I don't know the name of the color but it's the color of the 2006 avalanche it's kind of copper looking but I think it's called something else. If I don't go with that one it's going to be the same old candy apple red.
here is a pick of when I brought it home.
