Not sure where to post this so I 'll post it in the general message board. A while back I swwn in a Truckin' mag a '88-'98 truck with a 1962 Chevy Impala interior. Badazz:metal: Has anyone ever done anything like this or know of any other truck where they gutted the interiors, mounted a dash out of an older truck or car and did the interior old school? I was thinking that as many '88-'98's that are out there that a cab could be picked up reasonable and then hit the net looking for some older stuff to redo the insides. Everyone goes modern with the trucks but you never see anyone go the other way. I'm not a "Rat rod" type but I think something like a dash out of a '49-'50 Shoebox Ford, some rolled and pleated black leather, chrome on the dash, banjo steering wheel, etc. would look pretty cool.

I think if you want an old truck build an old truck. They are alot easier to build than the new ones, and more unique.

What makes them unique is doing what others haven't. And most will take an old truck and modernize the interior. Why not take a newer truck and oldernize and interior?
I did find another pic. The truck belongs to Pauly Rivera.

Slightly off topic, but I noticed that this truck has 99-06 style bumper and mirrors. Anyone done these, particularly the mirror swap? A buddy had those mirrors but they didn't fit right, not nearly as clean as those ones do.
