Do we have a dedicated WTB section?
If not, could we?
Having a dedicated 'wanted to buy' section would be advantageous to those looking to sell parts or those thinking about selling 'certain' parts they may have laying around.
A quick scan of posted parts folks are looking for might save alot of time.
We did, when we changed over the classified system and 80% or so complained when their posts were moved there from the for sale. It may be added back in again in the future
You can kick me but I too like the idea of a seperate WTB...
There is a WTB in the classifieds but it doesn't look like it gets much action.

Yeah, seen that one and your right...cobwebs everywhere.
Was asking/checking about something a bit more 'main stream', an area you wouldn't need to dig for to find.
its in the old new classifieds which you cant post in anymore. Only trucks for sale are posted in that system now, hense the cobwebs ;) That would be the WTB section I was talking about. It was added, people bitched so it was offed.
The parts for sale are in the forums only now.

One minor glitch I noticed, unless as a newb here I just don't know how to do it,I listed a WTB in the corresponding parts forum and got the part but couldn't edit the subject to show that I was no longer looking for it.
It would be cool if one could put a mark showing an item is no longer needed,or in the case of a for sale,no longer available.-cougar
Only forum staff can edit thread titles on the forum index. If you PM the forum mod in the area needing an edit, with a link to the said post, they will be happy to edit it for you.

If you go to your original post and click the edit button towards the lower right of your post, another window will open. Click advanced and you can edit your title....or you can just delete the post altogether.
Well I guess I'm all wet (again) it shows that you edited your title but when you scroll through the posts its the original one. When you open your post the edit shows, but only on your own post.
