Hey guys I was just trying to get a head count of how many members are from the central cali area. Im in the FRESNO area wanted to know if there was any listing for local get togethers.

First off, hello to all Cali members. There must be much more than us out there....I know there are shows Like the Goodguys gathering in Pleasanton, I believe Del Mar has a great show, We have a few local venus here mostly low rider shows. However Kingsburg closes the town for a great show and we have what they call a strawberry festival in Clovis that's pretty good size....The biggest shows here have always been the Low Rider Shows at the fairground...Cant forget to mention the show put up by Blacky of nothing but the best inventational show every year at our convention center....Famosa speedway has a goth gathering durring race days just not sure when they are....Plenty of places to possibly have a gathering....

Well when i get my truck finished i plan on going to all those shows! We should try and meet up at one of the shows.

im here in BAKERSFIELD, and we should all get to together and go to a show now and then and just have our own parade of 67-72 trucks, if youre ever close by here on a friday night go to sonic drive in on olive drive off of the 99 freeway they have muscle cars and hotrods and a few trucks there i go now and then and im like the only truck in our body style there

I'm definately open to meeting the members and getting together. We have quite a few guys out here showing there 67-72 chevys but I'm not sure if they belong to the forum. The only thing is when I go to the local shows I"m always seeing one truck that wasn't there the last time. To me that is always a plus and again look foward to meeting others and getting together....Bakersfield 90 min drive for me....maybe 2 cruisin.....Let me know what's out in MERCED....Central Coast I'd like to know when and where....I LOVE the BAY so post a possible get together....

Hey all you locals...Thats great that you are all responding....are there any more...BGGansta nice to hear from ya....and Handford is just a skip away...I heard you guys put together a good show out there...Durring my 510 and Celica racing days I use to go out there alot. Matter a fact I even took the kids on there first train ride out there and made a day of it. The pontiac club I belonged to when I had my 69 Drop Top Firebird would have a run to the Ice Cream shop out there...Atuscadero is not to bad either....Well keep in touch and see if we can't get more local members to report in....

Longhorn 70, DD is short for daily driver.. ya ever see the orange blazer with the 6" lift running around? It looks to be a clean truck.

East Bay area here. It would be cool to see a bunch of your guy trucks all at once. If someone puts together something I would come for sure.

Yes I have seen that Blazer. I think the guy works out here on the base. Nice, refreshing to see it when it is out and about.
My Custom is a daily driver. All the rubber mounts underneath were replaced by p/owner. Bed is straight and the tailgate is flawless. I hope to be putting a new front grill on it soon off of a board member. He has been working with me. I wish I had stock rims for it? I have to get my Longhorn back up and running again.

This is only the first one for the year. Strawberry Jamboree has a really good turn out on the 13th of may. Kingsburg blocks off the town wich is 20 mins south of me, as has a good size gathering. It depends on what your looking for. Low rider shows pack the Fairgrounds.....Really its just food for thought to give us a chance to all meet up.

well i would go but my 72 will not make it, frame here, cab over there and rest of the parts everywhere. long term project but would like to get to know all you guys and your trucks, so count me in
