OK...so everything was good when I started it a few times yesterday...drove it all around...

Got down to 3 degrees F last evening...

Came out this Am and the electricity is good...radio, fan, lights...all work...

Truck does not turn over...not even a click fromt he starter.

What am I missing...should be an easy electrical deal...petty simple circuit.

I also bought a new battery thinking that the cold killed the battery.

check your neutral safety switch// jump the 2 purple wires together and see if it'll start// make sure its in park or neutral

Move the shifter around a little to make sure it's in P or N

Perfect...you guys are the best...I just put the truck from P to 1 a few times...back to Park...and vroom...started right up...I am going to have to dive down under and see if I can adjust it or make it a bit more steady.

You folks are the best.

Tim

Where do you spray the WD 40? ON the switch itself...or some other moving part?

well if you got the can out spray it anywhere there's a moving part on the linkage and shifter emergangy brake brake and gas linkage door locks hinges my theory is spray it BEFORE it fails you're guaranteed if it moves after 35years it needs some cleaning and lubrication:)

I thank you for that...And I did just that back in August when I got the truck.

In fact I used two cans...LOL....yes and everything worked after that...the door locks from the key side would not even move...a few douses of wd40 and a few hours and they were as smooth as silk.

Now...if there were spray-on rust-eating metal... that automatically shaped itself to the appropriate shape...we would be in business.
