Love the build, love the truck...be sure to post up some more pics when you change the rear height. yes the 327 emblems will be staying, untill i build a new motor...:burnout: wink wink! jljohnson3579 01-08-2009, 09:40 PM so i put a set of monte carlo rear springs on the truck and it lowered it about 3" in the rear. got the rest of it blocked out them put it in the paint booth at school and got another coat of primer sprayed !!! paint is coming close!!! What year Monte did the springs come off of? I imagine putting Monte springs on to lower the rear saves alot of money since resto companies are Very proud of their lowering springs for sale. Good job! :c2: there out of a 71 monte but i took them back out and replaced them with cpp drop coils jljohnson3579 01-08-2009, 09:59 PM so i got the latches on today and that work great!!! just need some fine tuning. also i got my filler piece welded in on the tailgate. let me know what you think heres some pics Love the trick latches man!
