Something is wrong with the tail lights that makes them act up. The driver side light doesnt blink all the time and it is in different sequences that it messes up. For example...
w/ lights on:
the drivers side taillight stays on all the time and the blinker or brake wont work b/c it is on constantly.
w/ lights off:
the drivers side blinker works but when the brakes are applied with the brake light on the pass side tail light doesnt light up.
could it be that something is grounded or do yall have any other suggestions? thanks, corey

well the first obvious thing to do would be to get a batch of new light bulbs and take the time when installing them to clean the sockets and contacts and lube with dielectric grease also make sure you have a good ground between the bed and the frame.. it doesnt hurt to take apart the connectors on the harness and clean those contacts too

also may be in your turn signal / column switch. This switch passes your brake light signal as well as re-routing it accordingly when you have a turn indicator on...maybe that it needs further investigation.
